Head coach Wilfried Nancy’s tactical prowess and the players’ unwavering determination fuel the collective aspiration for success. which culminated in an MLS Cup championship on December 9, 2023, as the Columbus Crew defeated Los Angeles Football Club 2-1 in a thriller. It resulted in a third star atop the Columbus Crew's crest, as well as Nancy becoming the first black head coach to win an MLS title.
